the week of September 12, 2011, Microsoft announced ground-breaking news at
their BUILD conference in Anaheim, CA. Much was learned from Microsoft in
regards to their Cloud strategies. One of Perficient’s Microsoft experts, Chris
Woodruff, has compiled details and analysis from the BUILD conference. Chris is
a member of Perficient’s Microsoft Competency Center specializing in
Application Architecture and Development, and he leads technical business
development for Windows Azure.
The secret
to this new revolutionary Windows Operating System is that the Cloud is
integrated into Windows 8 and Windows 8 Server. Windows Azure has been a tool
in developers and IT Pros belts to build great solutions on top of Windows in
the past. Now Microsoft has placed those features natively into Windows 8 and
Windows Server 8 to have even better Cloud extensions and interoperability.

attended the BUILD conference and many of the Windows 8 developers sessions
